Wellington Rumour Denied.

Press Association —Copyright. Wellington, Last Night. The admission to ‘the Wellington hospital of a nine-y'ear-old girl from Tawa Flat has given rise to unfounded rumours which were definitely- allayed to-day by the superintendent of the hospital, Dr. John Cairyey. Dr. Cairney said the girl had .been admitted to hospital as a suspected case of infantile paralysis, but as yet she had not disclosed any' symptoms which would justify the diagnosis. She was still under observation.
