No Seat Over Six Shillings MARCHIONESS’S NEW THEATRE VENTURE Theatre seats at bargain prices is to be the policy of a new venture which the Marchioness Townsend is helping to pioneer in London. A new syndicate called All People’s Theatre Limited, has been formed, with Lady Townsend as chairman, and the intention is to present West End plays, acted by West End casts, with seat prices ranging from one to six shillings, inclusive of tax. The plays will be staged at the Winter Garden Theatre.
