Rural Library Scheme Rejected

The Eltham County Council decided on Saturday not to participate in (he rural library scheme as oirtlined by Mr G. T. Alley at a previous meeting. 'The motion was moved by the chairman, Cr. A. L. Campbell, and seconded by Cr, E. J. Gifford, and was carried after a brief discussion. Members agreed that the proposal was quite a. good one but it was felt that it was not one that the council should embark upon.
