Plebiscite May Possibly Be Taken In Spain.

Press Association —Copyright. Received Noon To-day. London, Dec. 9. The Paris correspondent of the Daily Herald reports that a plebiscite in Spain to end the war, is now the aim of the British and French Governments, whose mediation, it is hoped, will lead to an Armistice, after which a popular vote will be taken by the Spanish Government. This course is believed to be agreeable, but General Franco’s attitude is as yet an unknown factor.
