New Zealand Cabinet Confers With Lord Galway.

The Government has received no news of further developments in connection with the crisis apart from the advice of the conference taking place at Fort Belvedere. There was no meeting of the Cabinet this morning, but the Ministers are remaining in their offices in Parliament Buildings to be ready to meet at short no t ee.

A. meeting of the Executive Council was held at 10.30 a.m. After the disposal of formal business Lord Galway remained in consultation ’with the Ministers for some time. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, stated this afternoon that he communicated by telephone with the Leader of the Opposition, the Hon. Adam Hamilton, regarding the British constitutional crisis and inviting him to come to Wellington. Mr. Hamilton will arrive tomorrow morning and it is Cabine. s intention to acquaint him of the position.
