SIAMESE TWINS.

Death Of Second Of Pair. New York, December 6.--The death has occurred from cere-bro-spinal meningitis of Simplico Godino, one of the Siamese twins, who was separated from the other after the latter's death.

By means of two unusual operations Simplico and Lucia Godino, Siamese twins, aged 28, were separated after Lucia’s death from rheumatic fever. The fact that they had separate circulatory systems encouraged the belief that Simplico would live. They also had separate nervous systems. An anaesthetic was necessary. One operation was necessary for the severance, while the other was a plastic one.
