Famous Flyer Accepting Aviation Post. Press Association —Copyright. Christchurch, Dee. G. Mr Ernie Clark, the young Canterbury farmer who recently flew from England .to New Zealapd, has decided to give up farming for aviation. In a statement to a reporter to-day Mr Clark said: “1 have just returned from Wellington, where I saw the Prime Minister and the Controller of Aviation. I wish to give my undivided attenton to aviation. I shall probably be selling my farm at Waikari in the near future.” Mr Clark would say no more about his plans except .to say that he thought he would be staying in New Zealand with his headquarters at Christchurch.
