Life Of Ginger Rogers In Danger. Press Association —Copyright. Hollywood, Dec. 5. Miss Ginger Rogers, the film star, is guarded by Federal agents following the receipt of two letters threatening the«life of her mother and herself, unless £lOOO was paid to the writer. James Hail, aged 20, a sailor on the naval aircraft carrier Lexington has been arrested in connection with the Rogers threat, states a later message. Department of Justice agents trapped him in a. cafe from which the letter ■which demanded the money was brought.
