At the Methodist Church a prayer i from the Sacramental Service Book j was used, containing the words: “We t ( beseech Thee also to save and defend | all Christian Kings, presidents and ! governors and especially Thy ser-; ’ vani, Edward our King, that under I him we may be Godly and quietly ! ’ governed.” | Special prayers for ' the King and !
