Record Altitude Flight Recognised.
Press Association—Copyright. London, Dec. 3. Despite the opposition of the Federation Aeronautique Internationale, the Air Ministry has officially advised the Royal Aero Club that it recognises the altitude flight of Flight-Lieut. Swain as a world’s record for heavier-than-air machines. The figure is fixed at 49.944 feet.
