Croquet At Stratford.

A most enjoyable day was spent on the S rat ford croquet lawns on Tuesday, when a team from Inglewood played friendly games. The visitors were Mesdames Codd, Lawrence, BluLlitz and Ashton. Local players were Mesdames Hillock, Butchait and Summerfield. The first game of the Mc.L. Dowie Cup which was to have been played on the S. rat ford croqne lawns on Friday, December 4, has been postpom d until December 11, the Haweru team being unable to come this week. A bring and buy' day will be held on Saturday, December 5, on the Stratford croquce lawns.
