HOLLYWOOD PLANS. NEW PRODUCTIONS Striking Pictures In The Making. Here are some of Warner Bros.’ films to be produced next year. They include such striking works as “Anthony Adverse,” and “The Charge of the Light brigade,” while following its usual practice, this great firm will contnue with biographical studies such as “The Life of Beethoven.”

“The Charge of the Light Brigade”— with Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland. “Cain and Mabel”—Marion Davies and Clark Gable. “Three Men On a Horse”—Frank McHugh and Joan Biondell. “The Desert Song”—in technicolour. “The Sea Hawk”—Errol Flynn again. “Danton” —a Max Reinhardt produc-i tion. “Gold Diggers of 1937”—Dick Powell and Joan Biondell, in a film taken from stage play “Sweet Mystery of Life.” “The Prince and the Pauper”—Mark Twain’s story. “The Marriage Clause” —Robert Montgomery and Olivia de Havilland. “Return from Limbo” —starring Kay Francis. “Adventures of Robin Hood” —Errol Flynn once more. “China Clipper”—Pat O’Brien in an aviation film. “Stage Struck” —Dick Powell, War-1 ren William, Joan Blondell, the Yacht Club Boys, and Frank McHugh. “And It All Came True” —Ruby Keeler and Dick Powell. “Case of the Caretaker’s Cat” — Ricardo Cortez in the lead. “A Slight Case of Murder” —a mystery play, obviously. “The White Rajah—A story by Errol Flynn, in which he plays the leading part. “The Green Light”—Another lead by Errol Flynn, with Anita Louise, Margaret Lindsay, Sir Cedric Hardwicke, and Henry Kolker. “God’s Country and the Woman” —A Technicolour production witli George Brent, Beverly Roberts and El Brendel in the lead. “The Story of Beethoven” —A biographical story with Paul Muni probably in the title role. “Men Are Such Fools” —starring Bette Davis. “Panama Canal”—the story of this great engineering work.
