The Rome corespondent of The Times says it is hoped that the capture of Gore has dealt the to the myth of Western Abyssinian government. Moreover, as the troops weer not resisted and were warmly received, the political situation arising out of Haile Selassie’s claim at Geneva, has been terminated. The Italians are expecting the occupation of Gambela, 100 miles westward.
