A good story was told by the acting! Governor of Fiji at the recent meeting of the Legislative Council (states the “Star’s” Suva correspondent). Del said that while in London prior to tak-i ing up his job as Colonial Secretary in| Fiji lie hunted the whole of Loudon‘ to obtain a copy of llazlewood s Fijian: Dictionary. When he found one ;:t: last it.cost him 30/-, and he discov-j ered that the book had been taken i from the Library of the Colonial Of- I flee by a “very distinguished individ-l ual.” '
