FROM THE ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT..

The District Show is a communit yeffort and deserves the support of all members of the community, whether they live in the town or country. It is a rally point for the farmer and his friend in the town, as at the show the district is able to realise on what foundation its prosperity rests. . , The Show is a complex organisation which requires the services of a great many voluntary workers during a great part of the year, and as the day draws near the work becomes intensified. ’ The work put in by these men and women can only be repaid by a successful show, and I appeal to all to take some interest in this day, when farmer and townsman can discuss matters that have a direct bearing on the prosperity of Central T aranaki. —A. H. R. AME.SS, President, Stratford A. & P. Association.
