\ “DUKE OF RICHMOND.” POSTPONEMENT OF MARRIAGE. LONDON, October 4. James Smith, the farm hand who says he is entitled to call himself Duke of Richmond, was to have been j married on Monday, says the Edmonton (Alberta) correspondent of the Sunday Express. But to-day he said, “A hitch in my business affairs forces us to post- | pone our wedding until later in the : month.” His bride-to-be, Jean Townsend, daughter of the farmer Smith used to work for, said, “I don’t care what people are saying. We know we are going to be happy.” "After our wedding,” said Smith, “we shall sail for Scotland and take I up residence in Baldorny Castle, I Aberdeenshire ”
