Looking Forward Reminiscing is very well in its way, and in its place, but for practical value we modern folk must “build for to-morrow.” In these rapidly-moving times it is only the man or the Firm who steadfastly fixes his gaze on the future and adapts himself and his business to the ever-changing conditions, who can “look forward” with any confidence at all. . In no field of human endeavour is this truer than - in that of Radio and Electrical Appliances, and to drive that statement home, the reader has only to ask himself whether he would be willing to permit his wife to return to the household drudgery of even 12 or 15 years ago. It is matter for congratulation that the residents of Stratford and surrounding districts can enjoy all ' the ultra-modern electrical advantages through the service offered by itsdeading Electrical Firm. For some seven or eight years past, Messrs. Burgess and Clarke have spared no effort to keep themselves abreast of the most modern developments, with the result that to-day they offer a choice unsurpassed in far larger towns. They are specialists in Radio and Electrical Engineering, and carry stocks of a complete pricerange of Receiving Sets. That particular piece of household drudgery—washing—need hold no more terrors, for the up-to-date washing machine simply does it all. Then there are Refrigerators, Vacuum Cleaners (British, too), Toasters, Boiling Jugs, and a host of others. Started as a one-man concern, the Firm now employs a large staff, every man of whom is a specialist in his own particular job, with a personal interest in giving that service to the customer which 'has already built a reputation. If you appreciate such things as Courteous Personal Attention and Service, coupled with High Quality of Goods, pay a visit to the Firm’s Showrooms in Broadway or consult their representatives, and you too will join the army of men and women who are “looking forward.’’
