Sweeps 'The Board At Royal Lancashire Show < At the Royal Lancashire Show ati Blackpool last month the famous “Ovaltinel” Jersey herd swept the board by winning the first, second and third prizes in all three classes. It was also awarded the champion-* ship and the much sought-after Blythwood Bowl. Thus, 11 outstanding awards were secured at this important show. This striking success is in accordance with the herd’!-' winning record this season. Already entries from the “Ovaltine’’ dairy farm in the leading shows have gained no fewer than 116 awards*. This bjfngs the total of successes' since 1933 up to 415 —a truly remarkable record. These successes are important because they confirm the high standard laid down by the proprietors of “Ovaltine” in establishing the “Ovaltine” dairy farm. The milk from this farm is the best and purest it is possible to obtain. It is used together with new-laid eggs from the “Ovaltine” egg farm and malt extract from home-grown barley—-In the' preparation of “Ovaltine,” th® popular food beverage.
