On Sunday, November 29, the Railways Department has arranged tfor special excursion trains to run ’between Opunake and New Plymoufß breakwater with connecting trains on the Waitara branch. Special cheap return fares are being charged, and, given tine weather, this excursion should prove very popular. A similar excursion is being run from Wanganui. Particulars of the train arrangements will be found in our advertising columns in this issue. |
