™ * * Christchurch, June 2. Ino steamer Devon arrived in tho stream at Lyttelton at 6 a.m. to-day trom Newcastle. She has 19 soldiers on board for the Dominion, including" Major J. B. Hine, M.P. She has been declared a clean ship, but will undergo 24 hours' quarantine.
