RIFLE SHOOTING.
NELSON DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB
On Saturday the Nelson Defence Rifh Club iij'od their last competition of the season as well as the last competition on the Toi Toi Valley range, the club having received notice to quit after 19 years' use of that range. Many-i-egrefcs were expressed "by members, especially 1 by the older ones, who have been the I backbone of tiie club since its inception. The club will now have to use the' Quarantine range or become defun^v which would be & calamity, as more an' oy learnt m n^e shooting through the medium of a club than through ordinary J channels.
