PAKEHA- LRAFT ARRIVES.
r A large,number of returned soldiers j-who returned to New Zealand by the Pakoha reached Nelson by the Pateena on Saturday morning, and were met at I the wharf by the Mayor (Mr W. W. Snodgrass). Tnere was a good crowd, on the wharf, and on the call of the Mayor the soldiers were accorded three hearty c-heevs. Cars for the conveyance of tho men and their relatives were provided by Messrs C. M.'Collins* | Newman Bros., H. B. Walker, A. I Green si ado, "W. E. Wilk'es (Richmond), JWin (Richmond), and Snodgrass. Se.?ci.ral We*t Coast men also came by tho | Pateena, and connected with the 7.45 jtrain after 'being provided with breafcj fast. Following are names of men who arrived:— Private 11.
