LABOR.
Mechanics generally, 8s to 10s a day ; Laborers, 6s to Bs. We are sorry we cannot report a better state of things than last month ; a great number of laborers are doing little or nothing, and mechanics are but partially employed and are glad to work as laborers when they can get employment.
