To the Electors of the Province of Nelson. riENTLEMEN.—His Excellency the GovT vernor having issued the Writ, under which you will shortly be called on to exercise the right of electing a Superintendent for your province, I now hold office only till you have again made your choice. Having been twice elected to this important position, you are able to judge of the manner in which I have fulfilled the duties that have devolved upon me, _ Mid should i you consider that I have faithfully ant) jiidiciously exercised the trust placed in me, I shall be most happy to receive a renewal of that confidence which you have hitherto reposed in me, and for which I shall ever entertain the most grateful feelings.
