TASMAJSIAN MARKETS,
The Mercury gives the following report of the ma rkets:— "Wheat continues to come in very freely, and several salt as were made to-day at 6s. to 6s and 6s 6d for very prime samples. C >ajts remain at so low a figure that there is no inducement for famiers to send in their stocks. i Scarcely any barley is coming in. ; ( )nions meet with good enquiry, and are quoted at £5 10s. to.6Z, with an upward tendency. ■ ] Jotatoes come forward very slowly. Hay is without change. ■ -> :- ] ''lour continues in good demand,- at MM to 171 per tori for first qualities. B Iran, Is 2d to Is 5d per bushel. . <i 1 h« Launcester Examiner, of the 13th of March, sty s:— : • f 'lour is plentiful, at 14/103 :to \sl; wheat, 6s to 6s ■3d and coming in freely; oats are very dull, it beii ig difficult to obtain 3s except for prime samples. The market is well supplied with potatoes, which will not fetch more than il 10s, bags in. B ay in steady demand, at 4/.
