Regulations. »An allowance of 4 lbs. will be made to all horses brought from the other provinces of New Zealand to run at this meeting, - No person not a subscriber of Two Guineas to the fund will be allowed to enter a horse for any race. The prices will be paid by the Treasurer, on the Monday following the races, at the Trafalgar Hotel, at Eleven o'clock, a.m. Entries (excepting for the Scurry- Plate, Handicap Sweepstakes, Consolation Plate, and Forced Handicap) to be made, and colours of the riders declared, under a sealed cover, to the Secretary of the Turf Club, at the Trafalgar Hotel, at or before Bis o'clock, pun., on Thursday, the 28th of March. ... No public money will be added to the sweepstakes by the Stewards, unless two horses, the bona fide property of separate owners, do start A bell will ring for saddling, ■ and another for starting ; not more than five minutes allowed after the last bell, when file horses at the post will be started.
