GARIBALDI.

A Turin letter has tbe following:—

I have just seen a person arrived from Caprera. who has giveu me some details about Garibaldi. The General has sent uway all the aides-tie camp who accompanied him, and has oow with him only his sou and daughter, his friend Deilieri, and his private secretary, Basso. The mass of letters he receives from all parts of the world is enormous, aud some of them contain strange propositions. Dr. Riboli, a diatinguised physician of Turin, and a great partisau of phieuulogy, has written to Garibaldi entreating him to allow his head to be examined, remarking that he believes it must be oue of the best organ ised and tbe must remarkable known. A sad event has occutred v the island. . The sou of the colonel of the Itaiuu Legion of MmteVideo passed some days ou a visit witb the General, and as tbe Colonel wa3 an old friend and comuauiun iii-arms of Garibaldi, wnen in America, every attention was shown the young in;m. When the moment for departure arrived the latter seemed quite iv diapair at the idea of 'eaviug; aud on entering a boat which was to oouvey him to a vessel, he pulled out a pistol, and before any one could prevent him, discharged it in his breasr,. Garibaldi, hearing the report, hurried up. and did all he could for bis guest, who, however, expired iv a few hours. Nu other reason can be assigned for this rash act than that the y< vug man's enthusiasm for Garibaldi was so great tliat he could not bear to be separated from him.
