An attempt on the life of Marshal O'Donnell was made on the 7th December at Madrid. The Marshal was wounded in the left shoulder by a pistol-shot as he.left the Senate. . The assassin was immediately arrested; His name is Imaz, and he is reputed to be a man of extreme opinions, though.it is not said in what direction they are extreme. . . ;
