Baker.—On the 18th January, at her residence, Hampden-street east, tho wife of Mr. John Baker, of a daughter. MARRIAGE. Asams—Hopkins.—At the Baptist Chapel, Bridgestreet, on Thursday, January 24, by the Rev. W. M. Biss, pastor of the church, Mr. Frederick Adams, late of the Golden Boot, Bridge-street, Nelson, to Eliza Maria Hopkins, also of this city. DEATHS. Richardson.—On the Bth instant, at Taranaki, Thomas Watkin Richardson, Esq., J.P., aged 60 years. Sealet.—On the 20th January, Herbert Sparks, youngest and beloved child of W. B. Sealey, M.D., aged twenty-one months.
