THIS FINE STEAMER, having just completed her passage from Sydney to this port, under steam and sail, without losing a rope yarn, or damaging her hull and machinery, notwithstanding the unusual violence of the gales which, have lately prevailed, proves her beyond doubt a most SPIiSKTBTS SEA. BOAT, and in every way calculated For the Coast and Harbours of New Zealand. B£B DRAUGHT OF WATER is 7$ feet, which may be reduced by contemplated improvements. She was taken off the Sydney and Wollongong trade (where she has been running uninterruptedly for the last nine months), and placed upon the patent slip for examination previous to making the present voyage. HER CERTIFICATES are of the fullest and most satisfactory nature as to liull and machinery, and are open for inspection, by intending purchasers, at the office of the agents. She was insured in Sydney, at the lowest premium, as a FIRST CLASS VESSEL, and her policy can be renewed on application there, as her character arid performances, both for speed and safety, are most favorably known. HER EVL£ was built by the New South Wales Government, and is THOROUGHLY COPPER FASTENED, and coppered with 32 and 28 ounce Government copper. ENGINES being by Napier, of 40 horse power, and in most perfect working order, and thorough repair, need no^ other comment; they are of Low Pressure, and working to 91bs., are capable of propelling the vessel, under favorable circumstances, 10 miles an hour. Her Measurements are as follow: — From lore part of stem to stern post 86 feet. Main breadth outside plank . 19 feet. Depth of hold . . 9 feet. Gross tonnage . . 96 tons. Reduction for propelling power 35 tons. Registered tonnage , . 61 tons. The Ladies' and Gentlemen's CABINS are commodious and airy, having every comfort and convenience usual to a well ordered steamer. Having been recently painted and cleaned she is OPEN FOR INSPECTION The owner being most anxious to make a sale, the terms will be moderate and liberal.
