MELSON COLLEGE.—The FOURTH -L* QUARTER commences on MONDAY next, the Ist of October. The Secretary will attend on the following Friday morning to receive the School Fees. WHEREAS, on the night, of MONDAY * * the 24th intant, or early on the morning of TUESDAY the 25th instant, some evil diposed person or persons wilfully and maliciously inflicted with some sharp instrument three separate WOUNDS upon a BAY GELDING, the property of Mr. GEORGE WILLIAMS, then depastured in a paddock adjoining Vanguard-street, in the City of Nelson, from which wounds the horse has since died; Whoever shall give such information to the Resident Magistrate, or to some Police Constable, which may lead to the APPREHENSION AND CONVICTION of the perpetrator or perpetrators of the said offence shall be entitled to the abovo REWARD, on application to the Clerk to the Resident Magistrate, at the Court House, Nelson.
