We have copied the following from the Sydney Herald. '. ■ UNSETTLED STATE OF EUROPE. The Commercial Daily List says: —" We hear on authority that the present unsettled state of Europe has begun to create considerable anxiety in the minds of the Government. The report that was.circulated last year of the existence of a secret treaty between France and Russia,.and the possibility of.aggressive attempts by those 'Powers, on Egypt and Turkey, are again freely discussed; aud asi impression generally entertained, that the weakening of ,the English aud French Alliance would be the signal for the renewed advance of Russia on Turkey.
