CANTERBURY.— July 14.
We (Lyttelton Times) have nothing of any importance to notice-under this head. Trade has been quiet as is usual at this season.-. We have .suffered from the annual epidemic of a scarcity of candles and on« or two other necessities, which usually breaks out in the town about this time of year, but otherwise there has been really nothing to notice, out of the usual course of business. The neighboring colonies s?em to sifter irom a iimilar stagnation.
