[From The Age.]
The condition of the flour and wheat market still continues favorable to the agriculturalist. There is indeed a farther improvement, and a tendency still to higher prices Importations during the psst week have been small, not exceeding 350 tons, of which, however, by far the greater portion waa from South Australia. A larue supply, amounting to 6550 barrels of flour, and about 23.000 bushels, of wheat, has reached Sydney from San Francisco, but -it has pro-i duced no effect upon the markets here. Victorian flour'in town has a ready sale at jg23 and £23 IDs. and the best Adelaide brands have been sold at from .€24 to £24 1 Os; a few lots, even higher.. This differ ence of price between Victorian and Adftlaide flour is a point worthy to, be, noticed both by our farmers and our millers.
