NOTICES OF MOTION.
Tuesday, May 1. 1. Mr. Horn to move "That his Honor the Superintendent, at the next session of the Provincial Council, be requested to bring in a bill for tlie levying a rate on all unoccupied lands Bold by the' Crown lying outside tho proclaimed hundreds, at a rate to be fixed by this Council; the said rate, after the expenses of collection, to be laid out in road making in the districts where raised." 2. Dr. Monro to move, "That the memorialof the Committee of Management of the Odd Fellows' Society be taken into consideration." 3. Mr. Horn to move " That the report of the select committee on vaccination, &c, be adopted." 4. The Provincial Solicitor to move " the third reading ofthe Hackney Carriages Bill." 5. Dr. Monro to ask the Provincial Secretary " whether any promise has been given, or is likely to be given, to William Taylor, to the effect that a piece of land adjoining the Fish Market reserve, and fronting houses now in W"illianl Taylor's occupation, shall be given or sold to him; and if so upon what grounds.'' 6. Mr. Horn to move, " That the report of the select committee on the 'compensation memorial be adopted."
