Mr. Saundeus' Memorial.—On Tuesday lasf, a deputation consisting of Messrs. M. Harris, J. P. Black, and J. Webb waited upon His Honor the Superintendent with the above memorial to which 1077 signatures are attached, requesting him to forward the same to His Excellency the Governor. We publish the whole of the names in this issue.

Launch.—Yesterday Mr. Gilbertson launched another craft from Ms yard on tho Beach Road: The vessel is a prettily modelled schoonev of 29 tons measurement, and was much admired by the persons who watched the launch, which was satis" fectorily managed before high water. She has been named the " City of Nelson," and is built upon a superior model to anything yet turned out here of a similar size. She will have a fore and aft rig, and from her appearance she may be expected to be a fast sailer.

The|[Odd-Fellow's hall. —Since our last notice of the performance of the Wizard of the East several entertainments have taken place, and that on Wednesday evening last was one of the best ; some slight of hand, and mechanical tricks, were well managed on that occasion. Saturday afternoon is announced for the next, and we are told that arrangements are pending for a grand entertainment in which the Christy minstrels will appear in their Ethiopean characters.

The Intercolonial Cricket Match. —The excitement caused by this match terminated on Saturday the 4th of February; ending ia favor of the Victorians who defeated their Sydney opponents by sixty-nine runs. Full particulars ia our next.
