Wednea^ay afternoon Mr. Green held a sale of wool today, The attendance was g<wd and oomputition spirited. Fleece fetched 17|d. to 20d.; fleece hoggets, 19d.; lambs washed, Bjd. greasy, lid. Wheat is very scarce; buyers are offering l<;i)g pikes, but little is expected to cjtne iv till after Christmas. Nothing doing iv flour, except for local consumption. Thursday afternoon. The P. and O. steamer Malta sailed from .NVpean Bay yesterday at 3.30 p.m., His 'Excellency is expected in Adelaide tomorrow evening. Solomon sold greasy wool at lid. per lb. No quotations in flour or wheat. Pricei are nominal and little offering. Weather very hot. Friday afternoon. No alteration in the price of flour, which is »:ill quoted at £18 to Jglß 10s. Wheat sold to-day at 6s. 6d. Buyers are unable to execute com missions, owing to the scarcity coming in. In the market sugar is not in demand, and business of all kinds very dull. The Governor not yet arrivt 1.
