The English Mfctil, which has been for the last few days so anxiously expected, arrived here yesterday. The Airedale was signalled as early as half-past 9 o'clock, but owing to the very clear state of the atmosphere, she was seen as coon. as she had passed the. sand spit near Cape Farewell. six days and a half; outside r^the. straits she encountered very severe, weather and lay to so as to make the land by daylight. She has en board 20 tons of' flour, and of the Nelson Racing horses, Io , and Miss Rowe, Strop having remained behind to run another race. We regret to hear that Mr. Redwood, although having shipped all his personal effects &c, lost his passage by being too late to join the vessel when she started.
