ELECTION OE AUDITORS UNDER THE "NELSON ■'•.-- TRUST FUNDS ACT." ~ WHEREAS a WRIT under the handof V his Honor John Perry 'Robinson, Esquire, Superintendent ofthe Province of Nelson, bearing date, the Ninth "day of December, 1855), hasbeen directed to me John Pointer, Esquire, Returning officer, requiring and commanding me to cause to be elected by and from amongst the Voters duly qualified for that purpose, freely and indifferently, and in manner and form by law prescribed, Two persons as AUDITORS under the said Act. Now therefore I, the said John Poynter do hereby, in pursuance of the said Writ, give notice that MONDAY, the Second day of January next, is appointedfor the NOMINATION to take place at the Court House, Nelson, at Noon, and in the event of a POLL being demanded, I hereby further appoint MONDAY, the 16th January next for the Polling to take place. The Polling to commence at Ten o'clock in the : Forenoon, and close at Four o'clock in the afternoon of the same day. ELECTORAL DISTRICT OP WAIMEA DISTRICT. ;TN pursuance of the provisions of an Act -*- ofthe General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled " The Regulation of Elections Act. 1858," I, John Sharp, Returning Officer for the Electoral Dis- : trict of Waimea District, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the 21st day of November, 1859, issued under the hand of his Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, an Election will be held, for the return of a qualified person to serve as a MEMBER of the HOUSE of REPRESENTATIVES for the said Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place, at the School Room Richmond, on MONDAY, the 26th day of 'December Next, 1859, at Noon; and that the POLL, if necessary, will be taken on THURSDAY the 29th-day of December next, 1859.
