Now therefore I, the said John Poynter do hereby, in pursuance of the said Writ, give notice that MONDAY, the Second day of January next, is appointedfor the NOMINATION to take place at the Court House, Nelson, at Noon, and in the event of a POLL being demanded, I hereby further appoint MONDAY, the 16th January next for the Polling to take place. ELECTORAL DISTRICT OP WAIMEA DISTRICT. ;TN pursuance of the provisions of an Act -*- ofthe General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled " The Regulation of Elections Act. 1858," I, John Sharp, Returning Officer for the Electoral Dis- : trict of Waimea District, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the 21st day of November, 1859, issued under the hand of his Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, an Election will be held, for the return of a qualified person to serve as a MEMBER of the HOUSE of REPRESENTATIVES for the said Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place, at the School Room Richmond, on MONDAY, the 26th day of 'December Next, 1859, at Noon; and that the POLL, if necessary, will be taken on THURSDAY the 29th-day of December next, 1859.
