Provincial Secretary's Office, Nelson 1 5th November, 1858. RENDERS in DUPLICATE will be received •*• at this Office, until Noon, on .the 19th instant, for, parties willing to CONTRACT to perform the undernamed services for 12 months, from Ist of January, 1860, or for such longer period as the Postmaster General may deem necessary. To convey Mails twice a month between Nelson and Picton (Province of Marlborough), calling at Hillenden, Waihopai, Beaver, and Picton, remaining three clear days at the latterplace. The mails to leave the Post office, Nelson, on the 3rd and 17th of each month, at Two o'clock, p,m. To convey mails on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays between Nelson and Richmond; and on Tuesdays and Saturdays between Nelson. Waimea West, Spring Grove, and Wakefield. The Mails to be delivered at the Post Office, Nelson (unless prevented by floods on the river), by 11 o'clock, a.m., and to be taken from thence at 2 p.nu ' ,-. - The Postmaster General to have the power itf case ,of nonfalfilment of contract, to forward the. mails at the expense of the contractor.
