HAWKE'S BAY.
HAWKE'S Land Sale.—The sale of unagricultural land took place, pursuant to proclamation, on the 2nd inst. All the lots were sold viz.:—7ooo acres on the runs of A. St. Hill and G. Moore, to Mr. St. Hill, the applicant, at the upset price of Ss; 2550 acres on John Chambers* run, to Mr. Chambers, the applicant, also at the upset price; on D. Munn's run, 300 acres at 65., 1000 at upset price, to D. Munn, the applicant; 520 at the upset price to T. P. Russell, the applicant; 2800 acres on J. H. Northwood's run, to Mr. Northwood, the applicant at the upset price; 640 acres on W. Couper's run, to Mr. Couper, the applicant, at the upset price. On Mr. H. It. Russell's 280 acres were knocked down to the applicant, Mr. Russell, at 9s. Id., 359 at 7s. Id., 181 at lis. 7d., 254 at 20s Id. On T. P. Russell's run, 213 were knocked dowhtpthe applicant, Mr. Russell at the upset price, 130 ax lis. 7d., and 285 at 125., Id. The sale realised i n all about £4700. n
