TENDERS will be received at this Office '-*- until MONDAY, the 19th day; of September next,f from persons desirous of undertaking to perform the undermentioned WORKS, required to be executed in the District of CROMWELL (or'Waitohi) Queen Charlotte Sound, viz.— ■„ Forming breastwork and Jetty at the northern extremity of Wellington-street, Cromwell; Building a Lock-up at Cromwell; Forming ten chains "of-Embankment, near section number 19, on the road leading from Cromwell to the Wairau; and for Metalling sixteen chains of Road near thesame place; Building a Bridge over the river Tua Marina Creek, nexr-to the' Massacre Hill. Sppcifications and Plans of the above works may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, on and after SATURDAY, the 20th day of August next, on application to the Inspector of Roads, Cromwell; and at this office.
