The whole of the ship and boilers are of Colonial manufacture, by T. F. Dow and Co., Port Philip. Foundry; and she is considered to be without her equal in the Colonies for substantial and thorough good workmanship. She easily steams 12 miles per hour, ;and is well adapted for the New Zealand River and Coast Trade, her light draught (3 feet 5 inches) enabling her to cross almost any bar harbor. The cabin accommodations are large, very neatly finished, and replete with everything necessary to the comfortable conveyance of passengers. The wear and tear for a long time will be very light.
