ING, the 12th of January, at Seven o'clock precisely, for the purpose cf electing Officers and Members of the Committee for the ensuing year. Pursuant to the 25th Rule, " Members wishing to propose persons to serve any office shall give in the names of such persons in writing to the Secretary, at least seven days prior to the day of election. A BONUS of TEN POUNDS is offered -£*- by the Nelson Board of Works for the BEST DESIGN (including specification and estimate of cost) of a WOODEN CART BRIDGE, to cross the River Maitai at Bridge-street. . The bridge must be ICO feet Ion?, and 25 feet wide; and it must be tested to bear a weight of six tons. The total cost of the bridge is not to exceed £350; and the person whose design is accepted must bind himself to erect the bridge for the amount named in his estimate. ?
