LATEST INTELLIGENCE. MALTA.
21st October.
Telegram from London announces that the money securities remained unchanged. Consola for money, 98^ to 98f. New South Wales 5 per cent, debentures, 100£ to 101. At a meeting of the G-eelong Eailway Company, the London shareholders passed resolutions condemning the conduct of directors for keeping back interest, and claiming the payment of capital. Alpacas are being shipped for the colonies. We are politely favored with the following private telegram received on Saturday evening, from a passenger by the Columbian •— " New contract via Mauritius and Suez, to commence in February. Government intend running the Panama line. Money easy. Trade good. Exports moderate. Wool rising. Hides dull. Tallow quiet. Brandy down."
