The Spirit of Trade, Cnptain M'Culloch, arrived in harbor on Saturday morning, after having been signalled the greater part of Friday. She has had a long passage, 122 days, from Queenstown, where she

took on board a, detachment of the 65th, under the command of Captain Barton. From Woolwich she bun»s a detachment of the. Royal Artillery, under Lieutenant M'.Naughton, ;Staff-Surgeon Nevirt.Sin charge. The protracted voyage of the Spirit of Trade, which!is a fine barque, and 'one calculated from its' appearance to make a good run, is mainly owing to the weather she has had to encounter. One death j from measles, occurred on the passage.,out amongst the children, but sh» arrived in harbor with a'clean bill of health.— Southern Cross, December 7.
