XT.OTIOE is'hereby given that a RATE -^ of ONE PENNY FARTHING in the pound upon the assessed value of all the property included within the TOWN of NELSON, has been made by the Board of Works; and that'the said rate is required to be PAID to the SECRETARY, at the Board of Works Office, Trafulgar.street, Nelson, on WEDNESDAY, the 22nd day of December, 1858. la accordance with the 12th' clause of the Nelson Improvement Amendment Act, "the names of the persons liable for the payment of such rate, and the amount payable by each of such persons," are published for the information of the parties concerned. £ s. d.
