Wednesday,- September 21. Pauling v. Collins.—This was an action to recover £8, the value of a 1 cow, which had been' delivered to defendant to take charge of witli some others, some time since. Upon the cattle being returned to plaintiff!, the cow in question was missing, and although every exertion had been' used by defendant, the cow was not found. Ver-,-dict for plaintifF, £6 and costs. The other cases were settled out of Court.
