ARRIVAL. Skptejibek 16.—-Tasmanian Maid, steamer, 98, Whitwell, from the Wairau, with 250 sheep, Stafford; and 1 ton bacon, Edwards and' Co. Passengers—Mrs. We.ymss and servant, Mrs. Waxman and three ehi - dren, Mrs. Charles and two children, and four in the steerage. DEPARTURE. ' September IC.—Clarendon, brig, 158, Spence, to Holdanga, with 87 bags rice, 2 half-chests tea, 60 bags flour, 6 barrels biscuit, 66 bags ditto.
The Tasmanian Maid arrived from the Wairau yesterday morning with a cargo of 250 sheep. She left the Wairau at 11 o'clock on Wednesday morning, and was obliged to bring too off the French Pass for a few hours to take shelter from a severe gale.
