GENERAL SYNOD OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND IN NEW ZEALAND. rPHE Bishop of New Zealand has been -"- authorised to give Public Notice, that the first meeting of the GENERAL SYNOD is appointed to be held at WELLINGTON, on the Ist day of March, 1859. • Every man of the age of 21 years and upwards, who shall sign a declaration that he is desirous of uniting himself with the members of this Branch of the Church of England, under the provisions of the Church Constitution, will be entitled to vote at the election of Lay Representatives for the first General Synod.
